Znajući kako da čitate skraćenice za pletenje postaje sve lakše što više radite sa pletenim obrascima. 
Uobičajene skraćenice za pletenje uključuju RS (desna-prava strana), WS (druga-pogrešnoj strana), beg (početak) i rep (ponavljanje) .
Pattern instrukcije objašnjavaju neke neuobičajene skraćenice ili one koji mogu da se razlikuju od modela do modela.

Knowing how to read knitting abbreviations becomes easier the more you work with knitting patterns. Common knitting abbreviations include RS (right side), WS (wrong side), beg (beginning), and rep (repeat).
